RESOLUTE ETR (Extended Temperature Range) is a true absolute,fine pitch optical encoder system with excellent dust resistance and impressive specifications that opens up a new world of position feedback. It is the world's first absolute encoder capable of achieving 32-bit resolution at 18,000 rev/min. This brings all the benefits of the revolutionary RESOLUTE absolute,fine pitch encoder to dem cryogenic applications. RESOLUTE ETR is guaranteed to operate at -40°C (-40°F) in non-condensing environments,making it ideal for use in dem applications such as telescopes,scientific research,and aerospace. RESA is a one-piece stainless steel ring with the absolute scale code marked directly on the periphery. Both models are available in various sizes (u00d852 mm to u00d8550 mm). The u2018A' ring provides impressive mounting accuracy,using a tapered mounting system that reduces the need for high-tolerance machined parts and eliminates eccentricity. ‘B’ section thin rings,with low inertia and mass,are also available. Both Type A and Type B section rings have a large inner diameter,allowing for flexible integration into the most dem applications. The non-contact format eliminates backlash,shaft wrap (twist) and other mechanical hysteresis errors inherent in traditional enclosed encoders.
