Migatron RPS-102-14 ultrasonic proximity sensor

The RPS-102 has 2 multiplexed sensors with independent range control adjustments,LED indicators and Type C relay outputs. The sensor also has a unique master-slave feature that allows many identical units to be used in close proximity to each other without crosstalk interference. For example,if three sensors are needed in a close area,one sensor acts as the master sensor and the other two sensors act as slave sensors. This is done via the X IN,X OUT and GND connections on the board. One sensor (master) will send a signal through the X OUT and GND terminals. These will be connected to the X IN and GND terminals of the other two sensors (slaves). Connect the sensors this way and all units will transmit and receive simultaneously. This will prevent crosstalk and allow all three sensors,or all six sensors,to be used simultaneously while in close proximity to each other. Each sensor also has individual on and off delay potentiometers. All four delay controls are located next to the black module inside the enclosure box. Remote sensors allow the sensor head to be installed in tight spaces while the controller is out of the way. (2) Independently isolated type C relay provides normally open and normally closed outputs. The sensor operates at 38.5kHz and has a wide sensing beam that can detect objects at larger tilt angles. The sensing range of RPS-102 includes 2 to 14,5 to 72,and 10 to 240. Includes mounting flange,LED indicator,ranging potentiometer,and 6 feet of sensor cable. Optional cable lengths available.
