The RPS-150A analog ultrasonic sensor is housed in a limit switch style housing and is completely self-contained. It is powered by 20-30VDC and has reverse polarity protection. It also has a wide beam,allowing it to detect a target that is not at a right A flat target can be tilted up to 35 degrees and still be detected. The RPS-150A has 2 short-circuit protected analog outputs,4-20mA and 0-10VDC. These outputs can be easily inverted and scaled over almost any range by adjusting the zero and span controls. For ease of setup,an LED signal strength indicator is provided. The RPS-150A ultrasonic sensor can be used as a level control device for liquids and bulk materials. This LED is green when not detected and turns red when the target moves into position,depending on the amount of signal reflected by the target. The operating frequency is 38.5kHz. This model is available in two ranges: 2 to 40 or 5 to 80. It also has a quick disconnect socket. The housing is made of plastic valox and has standard 30mm X 60mm limit switch mounting dimensions as well as side holes for mounting the sensor on its side.
