Features: In the induction ring sensor,the sensing area is located inside the ring. These sensors are designed to detect metallic masses entering or passing through the ring. It is suitable for detecting,counting and inspecting small metal parts,such as screws,washers,nuts,etc.,as well as for the control,detection,positioning,inspection and automation of machine tools and manufacturing systems. They supply on 10-30 Vdc and offer NPN or PNP,no +NC output. They are sealed in a sturdy plastic housing with IP65 protection. All versions are short-circuit and reverse polarity protected and available with pre-wired cable or connector output connections. Each unit provides a sensitivity adjustment and delay on/off switch with a fixed 100mS output pulse. This makes them ideal for detecting small,fast-moving metal objects. Special versions of NAMUR output are available. The operating distance of the sensor depends on the shape and size of the actuator and is strictly linked to the properties of the metal.
