Fargo Controls S3231R Inductive Proximity Sensor

Features: In an induction ring sensor,the sensing area is located inside the ring. These sensors are designed to detect the mass of metal entering or passing through the ring. They are ideal for sensing,counting and inspecting small metal parts such as screws,washers,nuts,etc.,as well as for the control,inspection,positioning,inspection and automation of machine tools and manufacturing systems. They operate on 10-30V DC power supplies and provide NPN or PNP,NO+NC outputs. They are sealed in a sturdy plastic housing with IP65 protection rating. All models are short-circuit and reverse polarity protected and available with pre-wired cable or connector output connections. Each unit is equipped with sensitivity adjustment and delay switch,which can fix the output pulse within 100mS. This makes them ideal for the detection of small,fast-moving metal objects. A special version of NAMUR output is provided. The working distance of the sensor depends on the shape and size of the actuator and is strictly related to the properties of the metal.
