ifm ifm SB1232 liquid flow meter

Electromechanical sensors,electromechanical flow sensors of the SBY series monitor liquid such as water,glycol solutions,industrial oils or coolants. The sensor works according to the principle of a spring-supported piston. The piston is located in the valve seat in the housing and is raised by the flowing medium against the resistance of the spring. The position of the piston indicates the flow rate. Spring resistance forces the piston back to its original position,reducing flow and preventing backflow. Due to its robust mechanical design,the sensor can be used in high pressure and harsh industrial environments. The product line includes flow transmitters with analog outputs and flow monitors with switching outputs. The switching point of the flow monitor can be set and fixed using set screws. Depending on the volumetric flow rate to be detected,devices are available with different process connections.
