Banner Multi-Beam® sensors are compact,modular,stand-alone photoelectric switches. Each MultiBeam® solution consists of 3 components - Scanner Block,Power Block and Logic Module. The scan block contains the complete modulated opto-amplifier as well as the transmitter and receiver opto-elements. It also contains the sensing optics and the housing for the other two modules. The power block provides the interface between the scanner and external circuitry. It contains a power supply for the MultiBeam®,and a switching device that connects the circuit to the controller. The logic module (not required for opposed mode transmitters) electrically and mechanically interconnects the power module and sc module. It provides the required logic functionality,if available,as well as the ability to program the output for light or dark response. There are 3 or more models per sensing mode so the right sensor can be selected for any application.
