The SCX Series sensors provide a very cost-effective solution for pressure applications requiring operation over a wide temperature range. These internally calibrated and temperature compensated sensors are specifically designed to provide accurate and stable output over a temperature range from 0°C to 70°C 32°F to 158°F. This series of products is suitable for non-corrosive and non-ionic working fluids,such as air,dry gas,etc.,the device can be used to measure absolute,differential and gauge pressure from 1 psi (SCX01) to 150 psi (SCX150). Absolute (A in model numbers) units have an internal vacuum reference and an output voltage proportional to absolute pressure. Differential pressure (D in model numbers) devices allow pressure to be applied on either side of the pressure sensing diaphragm and can be used for manometer or differential pressure measurement. SCX Series devices feature integrated circuit (IC) sensor elements and laser-trimmed thick-film ceramic packaged in compact,solvent-resistant housings. The packaging has excellent corrosion resistance and isolates external packaging stress. The assembly features convenient mounting holes and pressure ports for easy use with standard plastic for pressure connections.,if the application requires extended temperature range operation,beyond 0°C to 70°C and 32°F to 158°F,two pins that provide a temperature-proportional output voltage are available for use with external circuitry. The 100µS response time makes this series an excellent choice for computer peripherals and pneumatic control applications. The ratio of the bridge's output to the supply voltage is metric. Operation with any DC supply voltage up to 20 VDC is acceptable.
