Teledyne RESON SeaBat 8111 underwater sound transducer

SeaBat 8111 is a modular multi-beam echo sounding system operating at 100 kHz. When installed on a ship,it creates a high-density,high-precision foundation on the seafloor in a 150° strip. The main system components include the sensor array,transceiver unit and processor unit. TheSeaBat 8111 sensor array consists of a cylindrical receiving array and a linear transmitter array,which are mounted together on a bracket that provides mounting points for the vessel. The array is lightweight and portable and can be temporarily installed on the side of the Opportunity ship,marking the first FORA system range at this frequency. The SeaBat 8111 transceiver features plug-ins for easy maintenance and is powered by a sonar control processor.
