The SeaBat 8124 is specifically designed for harbor and river surveys and is ideal for supporting dredging and pay volume survey operations. Operating at 200kHz,the SeaBat 8124 multi-beam echosounder successfully measured suspended material inherent in dredging operations,resulting in accurate bottom profiles measuring 3.5 times the measured water depth. The advanced bottom detection system combines amplitude and phase detection to ensure high accuracy even on the outer beam. The Seabat8124 is a lightweight and portable system - the sensor is only approximately 1 square foot (30.48 cm),maximizing installation flexibility.
