Sensirion SGM70 gas sensor

The SGM70xx gas meter module is Sensirion’s standard product for residential smart gas metering applications. They meet medium accuracy class 1.5 and are available for gas meter sizes G1.6,G2.5,G4 and G6. They have a digital I2C interface and are fully calibrated for air and natural gas. Sensirion SGM70xx natural gas meter modules are certified for H and L gas assessment according to harmonized standard EN and normative document OIML R 137. The evaluation certificate is issued by NMi,one of Europe's leading type approval and certification bodies for measuring instruments. The evaluation certificate makes it easier and faster for gas meter manufacturers who use the SGM70xx gas meter module as the core measurement unit of their gas meters to obtain MID certification. The performance of the SGM70xx gas meter module is based on innovative CMOSens® technology,in which the sensor element and signal conditioning electronics are integrated on a single CMOS microchip. On request,our certified standard product SGM70xx is available with an evaluation kit that enables quick and cost-effective evaluation of sensor modules.
