Sensirion multi-pixel gas sensor SGP is the industry's first gas sensor based on multi-pixel technology. This multi-pixel technology allows the sensor to its surroundings using a variety of receivers that detect gas types and concentrations. This gas sensor integrates four gas sensing elements into a 2.45mm x 2.45mm x 0.9mm DFN package to provide a fully calibrated air quality output signal. The multi-pixel gas sensor SGP provides long-term stability that traditional metal oxide gas sensors do not have. This stability offers new environmental monitoring possibilities and allows the integration of metal oxide gas sensors into mobile devices. Mobile devices using these sensors can measure indoor air quality,determine the alcohol content of an individual's breath,or identify odors.
