product description Sound intensity measurement can provide information on the amplitude and direction of sound energy in the sound field, and is widely used in fields such as sound power measurement, sound absorption, sound transmission, and noise source identification. The SI522 sound intensity probe is a sound intensity measurement device developed by Reputation in accordance with IEC and GB/T 17561. It is equipped with a phase-matched Prestige 1/2-inch pre-polarized microphone MP231, configured for face-to-face sound intensity testing. Microphones used for sound intensity testing need to maintain fixed intervals in the sound field. The three standard intervals (Spacer) are 8.5mm, 12mm and 50mm, which can cover the frequency range from 50Hz to 6.3kHz. The spacers are threaded onto the protective cover of the microphone and can be easily disassembled and interchanged. SI522 uses the Reputation MA401 preamplifier and is equipped with a pair of 1/4-inch to 1/2-inch adapters (straight-through and elbow-type) for connecting to the MP231 microphone. The aluminum handle of the sound intensity probe has a remote control function, and with the software, a single person can conveniently conduct sound intensity testing.
