Overview,SITRANS P300 is a digital pressure transmitter for relative and absolute pressure. A conventional threaded version is available as a process connection,as well as a flush-mounted version. A wide range of flush-mounted versions are suitable for food and pharmaceutical applications and meet EHEDG and 3A hygiene requirements.,the output signal is a load-independent DC current from 4 to 20 mA or a PROFIBUS PA or FOUNDATION fieldbus signal that is linearly proportional to the input pressure. Communication via HART protocol or PROFIBUS PA or FOUNDATION fieldbus interface. Basic settings of the pressure transmitter can be easily performed on site using three buttons.,SITRANS P300 has a single chamber stainless steel housing. The pressure transmitter is approved for intrinsically safe protection. Can be used in Zone 1 or Zone 0.,Advantages,Applications,Pressure transmitters are available in both gauge and absolute pressure versions. Gauge pressure,this variable measures corrosive,non-corrosive and hazardous gases,vapors and liquids.,the minimum range is 0.01 bar (0.15 psi),the maximum range is 400 bar (5802 psi).,liquid level,with appropriate parameter settings,the gauge pressure variable can measure the level of corrosive,non-corrosive and hazardous liquids.,measuring the liquid level in an open container requires one device; measuring the liquid level in a closed container requires two devices and a process control system.,absolute pressure,this variable measures the absolute pressure of corrosive,non-corrosive and hazardous gases,vapors and liquids. Minimum range is 0.008 bar a (0.12 psia),maximum range is 30 bar a (435 psia)
