  1. Working principle (fluorine reagent spectrophotometry)

Under acidic conditions,fluoride ions react with fluorine reagents and lanthanum nitrate to form a blue ternary complex. The absorbance is measured at a wavelength of 620 nm and converted into the corresponding concentration value.
