working principle

The in-situ total phosphorus and total nitrogen analyzer is based on the measurement principle of spectrophotometry. It uses potassium persulfate to digest the water sample into nitrate and orthophosphate,and then detects it in a continuous flow mode and integrated flow path,using a sequential injection method for sample injection. Orthophosphate is measured colorimetrically,while nitrate is measured using UV spectroscopy. The specific process is shown in the figure below:
