The Sprint 8 is a rugged and compact digital infrared thermometer with a wide temperature range,from below room temperature to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. The output is a standard loop powered 2 wire 4-20mA DC. Models with optional green LED diodes are available. This feature simplifies calibration when the measurement object is difficult to locate. The green LED spot size and position are close to the actual measured spot size at the measured distance. For easy installation,the Sprint 8 is housed in a sturdy stainless steel tube body with a 40mm x 1.5 external thread. Optional cooling jacket and air purification allow the Sprint 8 to operate in harsh environments.
