The Macro Sensor SQ1250 Series Heavy Duty LVDT is specially developed for measuring position or movement in rolling mill type harsh environments. These rugged,reliable non-contact sensors offer measurement ranges from ±0.50 inches to ±10.00 inches,with the electrical assembly fully enclosed within a heavy-duty aluminum housing and electrical connections with screw-terminal-style isolation tape. The complete encapsulation of the SQ 1250 Series LVDTs enables them to withstand the high shock and vibration levels typically encountered in mill environments and allows them to meet IEC IP-64 sealing standards against splash water and other liquid intrusion.
