SS2 load cells are designed for applications requiring accurate measurement of extremely low forces. It is based on bonded semiconductor strain gage technology and offers superior sensitivity,eliminating the vulnerabilities associated with non-bonded strain gage types. The sensors will replace the well-known UC2 and UC3 series of load cells originally marketed by Gould Statham®,who ceased production in the 1980s.
