The Steel Mass® 640S Gas Mass Flow Meter accurately monitors total gas mass flow of gases and easily inserts into 72-inch pipes and ducts. Larger probe lengths available on request. Typical applications for mass gas flow meters include compressed air flow,aeration tank air flow,combustion air flow,natural gas fuel flow,boiler efficiency,regulatory transfer and stack gas emission flow monitoring. The Model 640S Gas Flow Meter also has a high temperature option (750 degrees Fahrenheit) and a self-cleaning cleaning option for dirty flow environments.,Model 640S gas flow meter offers a variety of process connections (inc hot taps). For very large ducts,multi-point flow averaging arrays are available,equipped with a separate Human Machine Interface (HMI) panel allowing touch screen on-site programming and operation of the entire system.,this instrument uses Sierra's famous intelligent electronic components for on-site span adjustment,on-site flow range adjustment,as well as on-site verification and diagnosis. Model 640S has very low pressure drop and wide range. Section 640S is hazardous area approved by CSA and CRN (Canada),FM (USA),ATEX,CE and PED (EU),IEC Ex (Australia),GOST R (Russian Federation) and Model Certification The instrument accuracy is +\/-1% of the reading,plus +\/-0.5% of the full scale,and the repeatability is +\/-0.2% of the full scale.
