Infineon Technologies TLE5014 giant magnetoresistance (GMR) based sensor focuses on steering sensors and is designed for angular position detection in automotive applications. These sensors feature integrated magnetic field sensing,EEPROM,360° measurement,high voltage and reverse polarity capabilities. The TLE5014 sensor has angular error as low as less than 1° over the entire temperature range and lifetime. These sensors are available in single-chip versions compliant with ISO26262 ASIL C and in dual-chip versions compliant with ISO26262 ASIL D.
