Infineon TLI5012B E1000 tilt sensor

TLI5012B E1000 is a 360° sensor that detects the direction of a magnetic field by measuring the sine and cosine components using a monolithic integrated giant magnetoresistance (iGMR) element. These raw signals (sine and cosine) are digitally processed internally to calculate the angular direction of the magnetic field (magnet). Our TLI5012B E1000 is a pre-calibrated sensor with the calibration parameters stored in the laser fuse. At startup,the values of the fuses are written to the flip-flops,where they can be changed via application-specific parameters. An internal self-calibration algorithm further improves the accuracy of measurements over a wide temperature range and life. Data communication is accomplished via SPI-compatible bidirectional synchronous serial communication (SSC). Main functions include: - Integrated magnetic field sensing for measurement based on the principle of giant magnetoresistance (GMR) - measurement with 360° rotation counter and angular speed measurement - Max. 1.9° activated auto-calibration of error over lifetime and temperature range - Synchronous serial communication (SSC) with 15-bit absolute value representation (0.01° resolution) - Incremental interface with 12-bit value output resolution (IIF) (once every 0.088° step) - Incremental interface (IIF) in A/B mode with absolute counting enabled (provides absolute value on output) n - Fast update period (42.7μs) n - Automatic Calibration mode 1 enabled - Prediction disabled - Hysteresis set to 0.703° - Bus mode operation of multiple sensors on one line is possible with SSC in open drain configuration - Diagnostic functions and status information - IFA\/IFB\/IFC pins Set as push-pull output - bidirectional SSC interface.
