SCHNEEBERGER’s AMSA 3B monorail is an integrated distance measuring system for all protected machine axes where high system accuracy is required. The AMSA 3B is mechanically based on SCHNEEBERGER’s MR monorail roller guides and is available in lengths up to 6 meters. The integration of the measuring system allows very compact shafts to be put together.,an analog 1Vss (200μm signal period) interface with different cable lengths is available as the interface to the control system. Combined with SCHNEEBERGER’s SMEa interposer electronics,it provides very high resolution and fast digital signals. Reference marks can be set at 50 mm intervals or distance coded.,different transport lubrication and sealing options allow maximum adaptation to application requirements. Easily interchangeable readheads are the same for all sizes.
