SCHNEEBERGER’s AMSA 3B monorail is an integrated measuring system for distance measurement on all protected machine axes,which requires high system accuracy. Mechanically,the AMSA 3B is based on SCHNEEBERGER’s MR monorail rolling guides,available in lengths up to 6 meters. The integration of the measuring system allows very compact shafts to be put together.,an analog 1Vss (200μm signal period) interface with different cable lengths that can be used as an interface to the control system. Combined with SCHNEEBERGER’s SMEa interpolation electronics,very high resolution and fast digital signals can be provided. Reference marks can be set 50mm apart or distance coded.,different compartment lubrication and sealing options allow the best possible adaptation to the application requirements. Easily interchangeable readheads available for all sizes.
