The Type K Leak Gauge is a reliable vertical leak monitor designed to detect leaks in the annular/interstitial space of above-ground double-walled containment vessels (AST). Its simple mechanical design contributes to durability,minimal maintenance,quick installation and easy/cheap repairs.,this gapped monitor is custom-made in-house to fit your tank. We can accommodate any size tank from 6 inches to 170 inches in depth.,if you have a monitor tube or a threaded fitting at the top of the void in the double-walled tank,this monitor will go right through. Any liquid that seeps into the containment space will cause the float to rise,which will provide a visual indication at the top of the tank that there is liquid in the interstitial containment area.,standard materials include HDPE float,aluminum rod,aluminum bushing and plastic calibration. Other construction materials such as plastic and stainless steel are available upon request. However,leak detectors made from custom materials have smaller size restrictions.
