The U5006 is designed to detect the presence of smoke and is primarily used to control blowers and dampers in air conditioning and ventilation systems. Our U5006 uses the technology of the U5005 and is housed in a fiberglass NEMA4 enclosure. The unit mounts directly to heating,ventilation and air conditioning ducts and uses a cross-section sampling tube arrangement that allows large volumes of air to be sampled. Includes auxiliary alarm relay contacts that can be opened or closed normally. '
