Acromag’s microBlox® uB series I/O modules provide a compact,high-performance solution for interfacing sensors and field devices with data acquisition systems. uB signal conditioning modules are ideal modules for isolating,filtering,converting and amplifying signals from a variety of test,measurement and control systems. Simply plug the uB module into a 4-,8- or 16-channel rear panel to achieve high-density analog I/O interfaces. Channel-to-channel isolation provides optimal noise and surge protection against ground loops,spikes,and high common-mode voltages.,uB37 and uB47 simulate the low-level input voltage of a field thermocouple sensor and convert it to a 0-5V or ±5V output. On the uB37 model,the output is linearly related to the thermocouple voltage,while the uB47 output is linearly related to the thermocouple temperature. Both models have upper/lower scale sensor disconnect detection. Cold junction compensation is performed on the rear panel.,version of Bluetooth® wireless technology allows configuration using a smartphone or tablet. Acromag’s Agility™ app,available for Android™ and iOS® mobile devices,helps input/output ranges and scaling based on your specific application. The Agility app can also set up an alarm output function with setpoint limits and deadbands. Other application features include polling inputs,sharing trend values from graphs,updating calibrations and diagnostic troubleshooting.,for cost-sensitive projects,a commercial-grade version (-CG model) is available. These devices offer similar performance,but over a limited temperature range and lack hazloc approval.,the rear panel provides power,I/O terminal blocks,and host access to an industry-standard analog signal bus.
