Description: WM series residential water meters are multi-jet (inference) impeller water meters. They measure total flow in gallons. The impeller and magnet are the only moving parts in the measuring chamber. This chamber houses a filter basket,allowing high quantities of impurities to pass through the meter without affecting its operation. The movement of the impeller is transmitted to the sealed register via a magnetic coupling. This is perfect for subdivision metering water in multi-unit apartments and commercial buildings." Construction of these residential water meters consists of an epoxy coated cast bronze enclosure that is sized and flow-cast and includes an integral filter/measuring chamber. The register is sealed Good and can be removed. The registration is protective of the tempered glass lens,as well as the hinged metal cover. There is a calibration port that is factory tested and calibrated and is securely sealed.
