The newly developed optris Xi 80 combines the advantages of an infrared camera and an infrared thermometer. A complete 80x80 thermal image eliminates the search for hot spots and the tedious positioning required for single-point temperature sensors. The integrated spotlight function will identify the hottest (or coldest) spots in the image and automatically transfer these measurements without the need for an external PC. The Xi 80 is equipped with a variety of optics,inc a new 80° lens,to collect and analyze temperature information over a wide target area. This affordable device is a realistic replacement for existing field temperature sensors or for OEM applications.
