ZB series shaft encoders are general industrial rotary pulse generators. Model AU-ZBG is suitable for single channel sensing for counting,unidirectional measurement or speed applications. The AU-ZBH model is suitable for orthogonal applications,allowing up and down counting as well as speed and direction measurements. The encoder can be easily converted into a length measuring sensor using a conversion bracket. They can be coupled directly to the machine shaft via flexible bellows,springs or rubber sleeve couplings that allow axial and radial misalignment. They can also be connected to lightweight instrument belts. The belt drive also allows for convenient upshift or downshift ratio changes,which is useful for ob non-standard PPR rates.
