history

Founded in Stuttgart in 1886 by Robert Bosch. In 1887, he successfully improved the internal combustion engine spark plug and installed it on the car in 1897. Later, the company also applied for a patent for this.

Bosch has entered overseas markets as early as 1900. The first market was the United Kingdom; it opened its first office in the United States in 1906; it opened its first factory in the United States in 1910.

In 1927, the diesel engine injection pump was invented.

In 1937, Robert Bosch transformed his company into a limited company, namely Robert Bosch GmbH.
