Germany's E-T-A Circuit Breakers is the world's leading manufacturer of circuit breakers and a one-stop supplier of most circuit protection technologies, including: thermal, thermal-magnetic, magnetic, high-performance and electronic technologies. E-T-A offers numerous models and configurations of circuit breakers. E-T-A is also a leading manufacturer of Solid State Remote Power Controllers (SSRPC). E-T-A was founded in 1948 by Jakob Ellenberger and Harald A. Poensgen and is still run by their family. Today E-T-A has approximately 1,400 employees and a global network of representative offices and subsidiaries covering more than 60 countries. Although E-T-A has become an international operation, it is still led by the second and third generations of the family.

E-T-A has five production sites in more than 60 countries and currently has twelve distribution offices and a large number of sales representatives.
