In 1927, in Chicago, Illinois, a sensitive lamp test instrument burned out. Our 27-year-old founder, Edward V. Sundt, was determined to solve the problem. His persistence resulted in the first small, rapid-response protective fuse. Since then, customer challenges have driven innovation by our smart lab testing experts who develop products. Now we do this for customers around the world – wherever electricity is used.
