Application of Hall switch in chessboard:
The Hall type electronic chessboard uses the switching characteristics of the Hall switch to detect the position of the chess pieces. The characteristics of the switching Hall element are: switching characteristics. When the magnet is far away from the device (the distance is greater than the action range),the Hall switch output is high level. When the magnet is close to the device (the distance is less than the action range),the Hall element output is low level.
In order to work with the electronic chessboard,magnetic sheets need to be embedded at the bottom of all chess pieces,and the polarities of the chess pieces on both sides are opposite (the N pole of one side is downward,and the S pole of the other side is downward). Using the bipolar sensing characteristics of the omnipolar Hall switch,the chessboard on both sides is divided into N pole area and S pole area respectively. At the same time,a pair of Hall devices are installed on the front and back of each position of the chessboard. The Hall devices must Corresponds to the position of the chess piece,that is,directly below the chess piece.
