Massa Products Corporation FlatPack® Dry Material (Powder) Level Sensor

MassaSonic® FlatPack® sensors are low-profile designed ultrasonic transmitter modules. They are optimized for continuous,non-contact distance measurement of fluids,pastes or non-uniform solid bulk materials in confined work areas in applications ranging from 1 inch (25 mm) to 13 feet (4 meters). Combining state-of-the-art dual-probe ultrasonic technology and processing algorithms,all FlatPack Series sensors provide precise measurement for factory automation,warehouse material control,and tank level applications where pipes and conveyors are clogged or have uneven surfaces. FlatPack sensors are also ideal for monitoring pipeline flow levels in renewable energy systems. Due to the unique dual-sensor design with a system beam of 15-00b0,maximum range capabilities are less likely to be affected by solid materials with uneven surfaces,such as single-sensor sensors with narrow beam angles. The flat package sensor is RoHS compliant and IP68 rated. They are a field-proven design,housed in PVC housing,and are suitable for all-weather moderate chemical environments from -40°C to 70°C. Supplied with integrated mounting plate with pre-made holes for easy installation. All models feature continuous temperature compensation to ensure precise sound velocity calibration and measurement accuracy. Other user-friendly features include diagnostic and monitoring outputs,overvoltage protection,short circuit and reverse polarity.
