The Nova 470 Series CH4 Analyzers feature a simple and reliable microprocessor-based non-dispersive infrared detector specifically designed for CH4. The detector emits an infrared beam through the sample tube without the need for a mechanical chopper. During operation,the internal sampling pump draws sample gas through the filter/condensate trap,secondary filter,flow meter,and then into the infrared detector. The detector output is digitally linearized and then displayed as a percentage or PPM CH4 on a digital meter. The output can also be used as an analog or digital signal.
