GB2 is the latest addition to the Soundcraft GB series,featuring 4 busses configured as 2 stereo subgroups and a full 6 x 2 matrix. For installed sound and audiovisual applications that do not require the functionality provided by GB4 or GB8,GB2 is available in frame sizes of 16,24 and 32 mono inputs,each with 2 stereo inputs as standard. Each input uses high-performance GB30 Mic Pre and GB30 equalizer designs from GB4 and GB8,as well as 6 Aux buses. The four subgroups are provided as two stereo pairs with a unique device that adjusts the width of the stereo signal through the stereo mix. Channel pan settings remain on the group outputs,while the degree of stereo separation and mix bus are independently adjustable from full stereo to mono. The GB2 also features two stereo input channels,with separate mic and line inputs. In normal use,the mic input is routed to the local channel and the line input is returned to the mix bus as stereo.
