Harman Pro North America
Company Homepage
Founded in 1973, Soundcraft first came to prominence with the launch of the Series 1, the first mixing console in flightcase. Back in the early 1970s, when the music touring business was just getting started, portable mixing desks quickly became popular among bands and newly formed PA companies that rented out sound equipment.
Soundcraft expanded and diversified from what was then a small company in central London. The company designed a recording mixer - Series II - and began to build a reputation as a great sounding desk, which is often called the most popular British sound.
Design and innovation have always been one of Soundcraft's main strengths. Over the years, the company has launched many industry-favorite consoles such as the Series 4, 2400, TS24, 8000, 200B, 6000, Delta, SAC200 and Spirit Folio series, and more recently the Series 5, Broadway, GB Series, MH Series, Vi series and Si series.
Today, Soundcraft has a network of over 100 distributors selling and supporting its products worldwide. Part of the Harman Pro Group, Soundcraft remains a designer and manufacturer of professional mixing consoles since 1973. It now has a range of mixers designed for use in live sound, recording, post-production, TV and radio production and disco applications.
Harman is an international company consisting of a group of manufacturers of professional audio equipment, including professional audio, in-car systems, multimedia and high-fidelity consumer products.
