Many users have requested a smaller,lower-priced desk with the renowned VistonicsTM user interface and,of course,the legendary best-in-class sound quality built with the Vi Series.,here comes the Soundcraft Vi1™,a complete standalone console package that boasts 32 analog inputs to 27 analog outputs,plus 6 digital inputs,4 stereo FX returns and 6 digital outputs in one chassis. As Standard,mixed capacity inputs are 46chs,but by adding a stage box (compatible with existing Vi racks) the number of channels is increased to 64. Channels can be routed to 24 multi-purpose buses,plus LR and Mono hybrid cars The 8 buses can be configured as a matrix mix,with 16 sources each. The surface,just over a meter wide,includes 16 motorized shots with fixed and support layer channels,8 output/VCA shots and 2 main shots.,Vi1 though is a cool,new widescreen Vistonics interface that will be immediately familiar to anyone driving a Vi6 or Vi4,while also main the same walk-up user-friendliness as other Vi hosts. This newly developed product is available in a 22\ " All parameters of the 16 channels are displayed side by side on the Vistonics touch screen. The upper half of the screen handles output section controls and prompt list or menu display. Parameter control is via two rows of 16 rotary encoders.
