SP Lite2 is specially designed for daily measurement of solar radiation","It is specially designed for photovoltaic/solar module monitoring","SP Lite2 can be used in any weather conditions. The sensor measures the solar energy received from the entire hemisphere. It is ideal for measuring available energy for solar applications,plant growth,thermal convection and evapotranspiration. The SP Lite2 uses a photodiode detector which creates a voltage output that is proportional to the incident radiation. Also due to the unique design of the diffuser,its sensitivity is proportional to the cosine of the of the incident radiation,allowing for precise and consistent measurements. Can be connected directly to a voltmeter or data logger. Direct reading of watts per square meter (W\/m²) is obtained by dividing the measured voltage by the calibration factor. SP Lite2 uses Kipp & Zonen high-quality yellow cable,and the mounting flange integrates adjustment screws and bubble water level for your convenience. A threaded hole in the housing of the valve body takes our accessory screw mounting rod. The two instruments can be easily fixed back-to-back amd with mounting rods to make a simple albedo meter.
