Hoffer Flow Controls Transi-Flo I Liquid Flow Meter

Hoffer ultrasonic flow meters in the Transi-Flo I series of single and double beam models are used to measure the flow of conductive,non-conductive and corrosive liquids. The working principle of ultrasonic flowmeter is to measure the propagation time difference of ultrasonic waves in the direction of fluid flow. A flow meter consists of a flow sensor and associated electronic unit. Ultrasonic flow meters offer excellent user value and high measurement accuracy over a wide range of flow rates,long-term stability,negligible pressure loss and the ability to measure the flow of virtually any liquid medium.,electronics provide power to the ultrasonic probe and through its output,transmit flow data to other data processing systems. The meter is available as a complete system or with remote electronics. The instrument is available in three configurations: Select (inc display unit and control keypad,signal output),Classic (inc display unit,signal output) or High Efficiency (signal output only). In the monolithic version,the electronics unit is installed in an aluminum housing,while in the remote version it is installed in a thermoplastic IP65 housing.
