Hoffer Flow Controls Transi-Flo II Ultrasonic Flow Meter

The transil-flo II series of Hoffer ultrasonic cell flow meters are used to measure and store the instantaneous flow rate and total volume through the flow meter. Typical applications include cold or hot water in compliance with OIML R49-1 standards,as well as other similar liquids in water and heat supply systems and a wide range of industrial applications. In addition,the instrument can be configured with a pressure gauge to monitor fluid pressure in the pipeline. Transil-Flo II meters are known for their high measuring accuracy and long-term stability over a wide range of measured values. No external power supply is required; the flow meter has no moving parts and has significantly lower pressure drops than traditional flow meters. The associated electronics unit is used to process the sensor signals and display instantaneous flow,total flow and fluid pressure,as well as to archive the measurement data at defined time intervals in the internal instrument data logging unit. The archived data can be retrieved via the optical interface or the RS 232 communication line for further processing,e.g. on a laptop. Measured values can also be processed online using pulse or current (4 to 20ma) outputs.
