Hoffer Flow Controls Transi-Flo II Liquid Flow Meter

The Transi-Flo II series of Hoffer ultrasonic battery-powered flow meters are used to measure and store instantaneous flow and total volume through the flow meter. Typical applications include cold or hot water in compliance with OIML R49-1,and other similar liquids in water and heating systems and a wide range of industrial applications. Optionally,the instrument can be equipped with a pressure gauge to monitor fluid pressure in the pipeline. Transi-Flo II meters are renowned for their high measurement accuracy and long-term stability over a wide range of measured values. No external power supply is required,the meter contains no moving parts,and the pressure drop is significantly lower than with traditional flow meters. The associated electronics unit provides processing of the sensor signals and display of instantaneous flow,total flow and fluid pressure,as well as archiving of the measurement data at specified time intervals in an internal instrument data logging unit. The archived data can be retrieved via the optical interface or the RS 232 communication line for further processing on a laptop,for example. Measured values can also be processed online using pulse or current (4 to 20 mA) outputs.
