LARA-R2 series modules adopt a small LGA package and support multi-band LTE-FDD.
Due to the long-term availability and scalability of LTE networks,this module is ideal for applications that require the transition from 2G and 3G to LTE.
The module features numerous interface options and an integrated IP stack to support a wide range of data-intensive applications. The ideal combination of performance and flexibility makes it ideal for medium-speed M2M applications such as remote access cameras,digital signage,telemedicine and telematics.
They also support Voice over LTE services (VoLTE) and can be used in applications that require voice,such as security and surveillance systems.
With an operating temperature range of –40 to +85 °C,reliable operation is guaranteed even in harsh environments; compact design.
The ultra-compact LGA package supports straightforward automated manufacturing. The LARA form factor follows u‑blox embedded design principles and is compatible with the u‑blox SARA,LISA and TOBY module families. Easily migrate from u‑blox GSM/GPRS,CDMA,UMTS/HSPA and multi-mode LTE modules,maximizing customer investment,simplifying logistics and reducing time to market.
LARA-R2 modules are manufactured in an ISO/TS certified factory to meet the highest production standards and offer exceptional quality and reliability. During the production process,each module is fully tested and inspected. The module complies with ISO16750 standard - suitable for vehicle-mounted systems.
LARA-R2 modules are available in different models for the United States and Europe.
USB driver and RIL software for Android are provided free of charge.
